Women and Tobacco Pipes
I did some cursory searching on YouTube for women who smoke pipes and what I found was interesting. Most of the videos were ASMR by women smoking pipes. If you don't know what ASMR is its initials for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, which scientist say is gobbledygook not really meaning anything, but is simply a made-up phrase that means you will feel a tingly sensation from the top of your head down through your spine at hearing of certain sounds.
It seems more women are interested in creating ASMR videos than men, but men do them too. But perhaps the best channel is Happy with Scarlet who is Belgium and speaks with a heavy accent. For me, she's a little difficult to understand, but her videos are more like pipe smoking with a friend. I have found others by women to be too ASMR-ish in nature as they present the sounds associated with pipe smoking like the rustling of the paper in a tin of pipe tobacco.
I think Scarlet has a few ASMR vids, but I like her pipes. They are generally longer with a big bowl. But the fact is her videos are well-constructed and have good production values. I have noticed a lot of her vids were produced about a year ago and I have not seen much if anything produced in the past few months. But there are some women who produce pipe smoking videos, but there aren't a lot of them
I am smoking my second bowl of Morning Light this morning which translated in Hebrew is Boker Or. The reason for the Hebrrw translation is that this tobacco was blended with the help of a Rabbi, who smokes a pipe and wanted a Hebrew Kosher blend. Hence the name. Like I said yesterday I like Peterson's Early Morning Pipe better but thought I would try this.
I am smoking my Savinelli Champagne Canadian style pipe. It is one of my better smoking pipes, but is among the earliest pipes I bought for my collection. It is a good collectible pipe with Savinelli no longer making this line of pipes. So, it is an older pipe I have smoked a lot over the years and has been nicely broken in with a nice carbon build-up on the inside of the bowl.
I thank you for your time this morning, and as always, Peace to each one of you. I hope your Sunday today is a good day.
Dave
