An Introduction
Let me introduce you to Captain Black and a few other tobacco blends today. I'll review these tobaccos when I have the opportunity to smoke them, but allow me to explain why I ordered each one. Lane Limited owns the Captain Black label. Lane has been around since 1890. In fact, I have had a number of Lane tobacco blends most notably Lane 1-Q, which is their best seller and is usually in the top 5 on Smoking Pipes List of sales for tobacco. Captain Black Cherry is a good tobacco and as an Aromatic is usually also in the top 5 or at least the top 10 sellers. There is a reason for this. The Cherry flavor is subtle, but it has such a pleasant room note for others to enjoy. On my list to purchase is not Captain Bkack Cherry as I had a seven ounce tin of that already.
