Only NOT in Florida

 I sometimes sit on the patio and listen to the birds chirp and sing, in the early morning, which tells me all is right in my world.  A woman in Missoiri bore the child of a man that was dead when she conceived.  Really.  She is a 26 year old woman who worked in a morgue and is accused of having sex with about 60 corpses!  Only NOT in Florida.  Prosecutors believe she applied for the job and was hired because she is a necropheliac and for this reason her attorneys say she is mentally ill and should be treated as such.  

I don't want to talk about this child, because it seems to me this is too bizarre to be true.  But I read aboit it yesterday and decided to do some research into the subject.  The "father" was a vetinarian who died in an automobile accident and DNA tests prove him to have been the "father."  The biggest question is:  Now what?  The prosecutor says he has never seen a case like this in 25 years as a prosecutor.  I assure you that at nearly 72 years of age I haver heard of this either.  

I've read of strange ways that a child has been conceived, but this one takes the cake! Necrophelia is generally referred to in terms of serial killers that get their satisfaction from having sex with deceased victims.  In fact, as I researched the topic, necrphelia only referred to serial killers.  I almost didn't mention this article to my wife last night, but I decided to share it with her and she shared this with my son.  

The news article is relatively brief and at first, I thought it was a Florida woman.  Then I went back and re-read the article and this story takes place in Missouri.  So, it was NOT a Florida woman as I first thought.  But it doesn't matter where this happened it is an incredibly strange story.   The woman's only defense is that she is mentally ill and is in dire need of some serious help.  

Well, this blog isn't just about pipes, but is aboit most anything I am posting here.

I am often smoking my pipe and interacting with anything I wish.  I have finished off the last of my Apricots and Cream and am continuing to smoke some Good Stuff/Cherry blend and some Briar Fox I have on hand.  I am smoking my Angel pipe this morning.  I realize necrophelia is a sensitive topic for some, but this story was so bizarre that it haunts me.  Thank you for your time and Peace to each one of you.
