This All Began with a T-shirt

My wife noticed my pipe smoking T-shirts were both wearing thin and suggested we might want to look for new ones.  I told her I could get new pipe smoking T's, but she sugggested something different in brighter colors.  And this is where all this begins.

First of all, I need to make a disclaimer here by saying this article is about information and is not to be viewed from a perspective as one who believes in what I am about to write.  This is only to inform and is not either an endorsement or a dispute of a particular way of thinking.  But I first came across what is called "Angel numerology" in a YouTube video that said that God was speaking to me if I saw 1111.  I never gave it a thought until my wife suggested I needed new T-shirts.  

I told her I might be able to find something on Amazon I might like.  So, I began looking for new T-shirts on Amazon and decided I might want to look for something related to Angel's.  Then I saw a number of T-shirts that had numbers on them and nothing else.  They said 111,222,333, or in fours, such as 1111, or2222 and so on. And then I wondered what these numbers had to do with Angels.  

Well, I learned these numbers go back to the dawn of the New Age movement about some 30 years or so ago by a woman named Doreen Virtue, who gave Tarot readings and was a psychic who claimed in a previous life she studied under Pythagoas.  He was an ancient Greek mathematician who began studying numbers and came up with what he called spiritual numbers that offered guidance.  So, Doreen Virtue, who has since renounced her ways of living her life, came up with her own meaning of these numbers including the sequential numbers of 1,2,3,4 or any other sequence.

The numbers could be either three or four in a row, but the odd numbers were male and the even numbers were female.  Now, the New Age movement gave angels a bad rap leaving many to believe angels were just a New Age phenomena.  But the significance of 1111, for example is the number of love, or a spiritual awakening.  Lovers demonstrate their love with messages sent when the time is 11:11 either AM or PM.  But an individual upon seeing 1111, for example, might believe that person is on the path to love, or a spiritual awakening, or both.

The logic is that each set of numbers have different meanings depending on the numbers.  Even 666 is not excluded from the angel numbers having its own meaning.  I won't go into detail here about the meaning of 111 and so on.  The same number in a triad or in fours has its own meaning.  But Doreen Virtue made a list of what the numbers mean including the sequential numbers.  

Now, while I might like an angel T-shirt or two, I'm not sure I want a T-shirt with numbers I don't understand and need a reference guide to remember if asked, I found what I read interesting, but I personally wouldn't put much stock in numbers, including 1111.  But until I did my research the other day, I had no idea such numbers were a thing.  I found what I read about angel numbers fascinating, I didn't know and would have never known until I saw those T-shirts.  

As I said, I am not endorsing such beliefs, but I found reading about them interesting.  If you are interested, you can do your own research into the subject.  You might find such numbers fun to follow on your own.  I believe in Angels as most of you know, but angel numbers start getting "out there," if you know what I mean.  But if you see others posting numbers at least you will know why.

But where do you see the numbers?  They can be on clocks, busses, pages in a book, or sent by others in social media, or anywhere numbers are posted and one notices the numbers.  It seems noticing numbers leaves an impression of one who believes in them and knows what they mean.  Now, this might be old hat to some of you, but it's new to me.  I never knew angel numerology was even a thing.  Evidently it is to some people.  I didn't have to write about all these things this morning, but these things were on my mind yesterday as I smoked my pipe.  

Frankly, maybe I need more pipe smoking T-shirts.  I am smoking my number 3 Nording today and to me that has no significance, except I enjoy smoking this pipe.  My first bowl of the day is Old Professor pipe tobacco.  No, my wife isn't crazy about that particular tobacco.  When I ordered it i thought it might be something she might like.  I was wrong.  But I have a lot of Autumn Evening to appease her.  I'll conclude by saying that if nothing else, such an angel numerologyT-shirt could be the start of a new friendship--or not.  Thank you for time and Peace to each one of you.
