It's about the Pipe

 Maybe I have too much time on my hands for smoking my pipes.  But being kind of retired gives me a lot of spare time.  However, my time spent is at home.  We have done all the traveling we want to do and due to our health we spend our time at home, which led my son to believe that maybe we need our own place.  This way he wouldn't have to plan his life around us.  As of yet, we haven't heard about the condo for which we applied, but no news is good news.  

My son just asked me if I'd want a dog.  We've always had pets since the kids were little and for the first time in decades we don't have a pet.  But owning a cat or a dog is almost too much work.  But I'll think about it.  We can't have a pet in our new place, but after that we will see.  Maybe I have too much time on my hands and I could be a bother to some, but I know I'm needed, so I don't feel like I have nothing to do, but sit around and smoke my pipe.  But I earn my keep besides doing our part for expenses.  

I don't know which pipe I will choose on Thursday, but I'll choose a pipe, and I have only three different tobaccos to choose from right now.  But I have time to work on this post between now and about 10:30 Eastern time on Thursday morning (today).  I used to post my other blog earlier in the morning, but I found that time of day a good time to post.  And I have a lot of pipe smoking to do between now and then.  

But maybe I need to make pipe smoking more central to my posts, and this blog allows me to write about most anything WHILE smoking my pipe.  I never want you to feel my posts are a waste of your time, or mine for that matter.  But I know enough about writing that there is always a rough draft.  Some are rougher than others.  But this post will have been gone over numerous times before I post it on Thursday, but still I don't catch all my typos.  

My point is that maybe my pipe smoking should be a more central theme, but in some ways I find something that just deserves time as a subject and then my pipe is just background.   For example, I have more to say about numerology tomorrow.  I still try to avoid religion and politics, but earlier in the week I found out angel numerology was a thing.  I'm still reading about this because I am curious.  But hey, I'm still curious about flat earthers too.  I might write about them sometime, but at least I know they exist.  

And there are those who think the moon landing was a hoax.  No one back then gave it a thought.  When I saw those live images back in 1969, there is no way I thought anyone could say that was fake.  I hate to give some people time for the way they think, but we live in a world where nothing surprises me anymore.  I just didn't know angel numbers was a thing, which I will explain more in detail tomorrow.  And there will always be some Florida man that just can't be ignored.  

I've learned old guys don't want to spend money on pipes or tobacco or due to health reasons--not smoke at all.  Maybe I should smoke Sir Walter Raleigh in Dr. Grabow pipes, for example.  Because I'm not a pipe snob.  If it comes to that, so be it.  And maybe I don't need more pipes and I should stick with Half & Half, which by the way, I have never smoked, but is on my list.  I thought I'd smoke myTim West pipe today.  I still have plenty of Old Professor I'm smoking right now.  Thank you for your time and Peace to each one of you.
