Just Relax

 It rained this morning and is now hot and steamy this mid-mornibg here in SW Florida.  But I'll take this over a cold winter morning up north anytume.  On to tofay's post.  The court system and a jury of his peers will determine the fate of Trump.  This is all I will say about what is going on in politics.  Trump will be indicted tomorrow.  How that makes anyone feel depends greatly on one's politics.  Trump is either Jesus or the Anti-Christ depending on how one thinks.  

Now, having said what I've said, I am observing world events closely.  IF social scientists are right that society has about 20 years left, this might be the beginning of the end.  It just might be.  In January of every year, the scientific community gets together to see where to set the Doomsday clock.  As to whether this is a REAL clock or imagined, a number of factors are considered comparing past years and the clock has been set at a minute and a half to midnight.

This is the closest to midnight the clock has ever been.  One of the factors taken into consideration is the stabilization of the world's societies.  US society is the most unstable it has ever been.  This was taken into account in setting the doomsday clock.  This coming January I wouldn't be surprised if that minute hand is moved up 45 seconds.  It has been said society has about 20 years left before the world collapses.  

A WWIII will be the war of annihilation.  No question.  There is enough nuclear power to destroy the world about 90 times over.  No nation will be excluded from a World War.  I am certain of this.  Twenty years is not a very long time.  As time goes by, I will be listening to the scientists and what they say about the end of society as we know it.  No nation will be excluded.  

Can the course of humanity be changed?  Not as I see it.  I believe we are at the beginning of the end.  This essay is NOT political as I am not telling anyone what to think.  Can the end be diverted?  It will take intervention.  No question.  As the end nears people will panic.  I fear what desperate people will do.  I will wait for the indictment on Tuesday.  

Meanwhile I'm just going to relax.  What matters to me IS Human Life.  Period.  My life is just fine.  If I didn't take my medications and relax, the stresses of what I've just written could kill me, one way or another.  But I smoke my pipe this morning, sit back, and relax.  Everything is just fine, at least in my world.  I'll remain relaxed and refuse to stress about life and living.  My pipe helps a great deal.  Frankly, as I've said, more people need to smoke a pipe.  There is just to much anger and fear in this world.  Just relax any way you know how and everything will be fine.  Thank you for your time and Peace to each one of you.

Strange

 I can never predict how any of my posts are going to be received but I do get a reaction from my wife quite often, but I'll post about my Spirituality thinking I've said enough and apart from a few other subjects my Spirituality posts do quite well.  I had yesterday's tobacco review done a few days ago and saved it for yesterday and again, it seems my tobacco reviews do quite well.  Then I wrote about my age and it seemed no one cared that much   My wife says that it's my titles for my subjects So, while I have so many subjects to choose from, today it is about how my tobacco choices influence my Spirituality or do they?  Not really.  It's just that I can't smoke my pipes without tobacco.  I could be smoking a lot of things.  Like the question asked when someone thinks you are crazy, " What have I been smoking?"  Well, at least you know.  It's never any "funny" stuff.  You could be asking what I've been drinking.  I have ...

Old Ads

 My wife liked my post about old things we remember.  And a lot of what I remembered was good.  But there was some bad things back then that are different today.  Back in the 50's and 60's and even into the 70's advertising in both magazines and TV were incredibly sexist.  I don't have the space in one post to list all the ads, but really they can be summed by saying that a lot of advertising was incredibly sexist. I 've mentioned my wife lit my pipe for me just a few times, but these days she can barely tolerate the aroma of my most flavorful Aromatic tobacco.  She liked everything I said in that post except my mentioning Old Professor pipe tobacco.  Ironically, I like Old Professor the most and she hates it the most.  So, when I mentioned it, she did too.  But back in the day a man smoking a pipe was his lifestyle.  Today, it's a hobby, and not just for men.
