Endless Possibilities

There are now a number of ideas about the universe origins floating around out there.  I'm fascinated by a number of plausible theories, but the Big Bang is the least of them.  It seems less and less plausible that some atoms got together and created all this.  Some physicists have theorized that ours is just one of an infinite number of universes, but the James Webb Space Telescope is opening up all kinds of plausible theories like parallel universes and ideas like we are in our own Blck Hole.

I'm not really a physicist, so I can't address the various ideas, including one that suggests we are in a kind of Matrix controlled by a Master Race.  From strictly my own theological/philosophical reasoning, it might be more plausible to believe time does not exist except by our own making.  It's possible that the universe has no beginning and thus it has no end.

Our finite minds can't grasp the idea of infinity, and the possibility is that the universe always has been and always will be with no beginning and no end.  This is more akin to my own thinking.  But by reason, the universe is 13.8 billion years old and it is some 92 billion light years across.  This is what we can observe.  But is there more?  Is time just a human construct used for a definition?  Can infinity exist?  I say it can.  We can't wrap our heads around infinity, but how can galaxies exist after just some one billion light years?

I'm fascinated by the discussions, because there is just so much we don't know.  The physicists who study such stuff now say that there is so much they don't know and now are in the process of formulating new theories based on physics.  I can understand infinity as a theologian and as a philosopher I would suggest all theories are plausible.  We could be controlled by a Master Race in some kind of Matrix, but is such thinking plausible?

It's just that the Bid Bang seems to be the one implausible theory which is no longer acceptable.  The Big Bang solved a lot of issues from a humanistic point of view, but that doesn't explain the formation of galaxies at the edge of the known universe.  So, I'm inclined to believe in a timeless existence.  We just don't know what is out there.  It's not that I'll believe most anything, but I believe wrap speed is as much a possibility as worm holes and even time travel.

I can believe in aliens as much aa I can believe we are alone.  I open the doors to ANY possibility, because closing options limits possibilities.  Mark Twain says he was born to smoke a pipe.  I was born with an open mind, which allows me to smoke a pipe.  I limit what I put in my pipes, but the fact is we are all on this earth for a purpose.  Everyone learns their purpose.  Some are born to ask questions.

I just don't accept I'm stardust.  We are born for each other.  My wife allows me to smoke my pipe, which is what I do when I ponder the universe.  I'm smoking my Sherlock Holmes pipe this morning with some Tropical Export.  I'm excited about endless possibilities.  I wonder if the Matrix is reading this...  Thank you for your time and Peace to each one of you.
