A Decision
I've decided not to order the Carter Hall I thought about ordering. I've removed it from my wish list. I don't have much Tropical Export left and might order more. But I did add about a half dozen or so blends I haven't tried, including one that is an English Aromatic. I decided to put Revelation Match in my shopping list. Revelation is no longer made as it was for Einstein, which was his tobacco of choice. But it is now a blend offered by Sutliff.
As for others on my shopping list, I have about five blends I've never tried and might order an ounce or two of each. I'm most curious about Euleen's Dream, which is offered by CAO, which is a company I first knew as a manufacturer of a good cigar. Eileen's Dream as an Aromatic is rated up there with Autumn Evening as a very pleasant Aromatic both for the pipe smoker and as a room note. I'm thinking my wife might enjoy the room note as much as Tropical Export.
I have now about four Churchwarden pipes in my list, including one Nording pipe. I told my wife that on several lists I have seen lists about good first pipes, Nording is appearing on those lists. Nording, Peterson, and Savinelli all make excellent good first pipes that are affordable. But they all make expensive pipes in higher price ranges. One can collect only these pipes and end up with an excellent pipe collection.
My next pipe will be a Churchwarden from one of these three companies. My list has each one represented all at about the same price. But I'm in no hurry to buy another pipe. I'd just like to add a new Churchwarden and put it in my pipe rotation. As for tobacco, I am running low on Tropical Export, but have a lot of Autumn Evening. I am almost out of Old Professor I keep at my son's house. But I can smoke Autumn Evening both here and there.
The best-selling tobacco is Captain Black Original. I might buy a 7 ounce can of that and keep it at my son's house. As much as I like Early Morning Pipe, I might not get anymore pure English tobacco this time around. The English Aromatic is something I haven't tried and am quite curious about it.
Well, those are my thoughts as I build my next order for Smoking Pipes. I have four Churchwarden pipes in my list, but will just choose one, and might prefer something that would be the least expensive, but I'll see what the Bookkeeper has to say about it. Today it is my Stanwell pipe with some Autumn Evening. I thank you for your time and Peace to each one of you.
