A Cool French Pipe
The above pipe is called a Churchill named for the famous British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. I showed this pipe to my wife who said it was really a nice looking pipe. I like pipes that boarder on the unusual. But perhaps it's the bent stem shape. The grain is quite unusual as is the sandblast pattern of this pipe. The stem gives it an old school look.
The brass fitting around the stumel is what sets it apart. This could be a pipe for formal occassiins, but is just as suited for smoking while reading a book or watching TV. This pipe looks more expensive than it is. Chacom might not have the Dunhill pedigree, but although they are now made in France they do have a certain amount of British heritage behind them.
I'm not going to be posting photos and descriptions here in hopes someone will see and buy it a gift for me. No. I have plenty of pipes. I come across photos of pipes I just really like and this just happens to be one of them and I explain why I like it. Price now is a major determing factor. This is a very nice pipe at a very nice price. Chacom has its roots in the British Comoy name. While this pipe isn't a Comoy pipe it is a very fine pipe.
This morning it is myPeterson Sherlock Holmes pipe with. some Haunted Bookshop. I brought eight pipes with me to NY and today's pipe is one of them. I brought a pipe for seven days of the week plus one. My coffee this morning is Classico Gourmet coffee and I'm sitting on the deck this morning enjoying the woods up here in NY. Thank you for your time and Peace to each one of you.
Dave
