A Deeper Sense

When I'm deep in my Spirituality I have a sense of everything going on around me.  It's more about what I feel as opposed to what I think.  I am to receive my Carter Hall later today and can't wait to try it.  Tobacco has a tendency to keep me settled down both about my Spirituality and about life itself.  My pipes serve a Divine purpose although most wouldn't think so, but tobacco adds to my Spirituality.

It makes me more reflective and I focus on my feelings when I smoke a pipe.  I can't say how it does this, but it is a tool used to connect me to Spirit Guides.  And it's more about feelings than thoughts.  I simply feel connected to the Divine with a pipe.  Of this weren't true I might not have a reason to smoke a pipe.  My tobacco choices are a big part of it.

I wish I could say how or why, but it's more about feeling connected.  I think more about my feelings when I'm smoking a pipe.  I could go days without a pipe and have.  But it wasn't about quitting tobacco, but more about convenience.  A pipe isn't addictive like cigarettes or even cigars.  A pipe is a tool.  Cigarettes and cigars can be habits, but for me a pipe is a tool.

It's a simple tool.  Nothing complex about a pipe.  We're sending a pipe out this week to get it fixed.  It's my "haunted" Gettysburg pipe.and I will have that back in a few weeks!  I thought it might be too expensive to fix, but Smoking Pipes recommended a place in Idaho they send their customers and after a few email exchanges I arranged to ship it there.  So, maybe by Christmas it will be like a new pipe!

The fact is that maybe I need to smoke my pipe less, but if I worried it was a health hazard maybe I would.  And it's possible we could live in a place where smoking is not allowed.  But I'll cross that bridge when and if we get there.  Meanwhile I consider my pipe a tool for my Spirituality.  Today it is my Peterson Irish Harp with some of my Special Blend and my coffee this morning is Manatee.  Thank you for your time and Peace to each one of you,

Dave
