About Keeping Score

I have habits I carried over to my new iPhone.  I still do Android stuff on my phone and Apple seems to know this.  So my phone gives me suggestions on how to use my phone better.  Instead of doing this it tells me to do that instead.  It really is a Smartphone and teaches me how to utilize the best options.  My phone probably knows me better than anyone including my wife!  It will make suggestions.  So, after a week of using it, I’m still learning how it works.  It seems to know my old phone was an Android based phone.

Apple makes everything integrate with the phone.  It even suggests how an Apple Watch can be integrated into the phone.  But I am far from getting an Apple Watch although I can see why so many Apple users have all things Apple.  Sometimes one needs an Apple computer.  Sometimes one needs an Apple Watch.  And they all integrate and talk to each other seamlessly.

But right now my focus is on learning how my phone works and I’ll start there.  I could use a heart monitor that an Apple Watch has and integrate that to store heart data on my phone.  My phone now has the list of medications I take and can give that info to emergency personnel if they need it.  All my health data is stored on my phone.  I think what I find most fascinating about my phone is that it can tell most anyone where I am at most any given time.  I have no secrets from my phone.

My new phone is less nefarious than my old Android.  I don’t worry as much about security as I did with my old Android phone.  I wasn’t cautious enough with my old Android.  I have to tell my phone about my moods and it will keep track of them.  Even though the hurricane is over, I’m still dealing with it to some degree.  And I need to work on communicating with my Spirit Guides which is what I did yesterday when we weren’t out shopping for groceries and doing other things.

Even though it’s college football Saturday, I will spend time with my Spirit Guides.  The hurricane was an unwanted distraction.  I see my phone as a tool I must have with me at all times.  I’m gradually getting used to it and see it more of a necessity than a distraction.  I’m beginning to see how important college football is to me, but I follow the games on my phone and am less distracted doing that that than switching from game to game.

So, these are my thoughts this morning about new phone and can see how it enhances my Spirituality instead of being a distraction.  Much like my pipes,  I see my pipes in the same way.  They enhance my Spirituality and don’t distract me.  I’m beginning to understand that anything can enhance my Spirituality.  I want to now see how everything enhances my Spirituality and aren’t distractions.  Today it is my Boswell pipe with my Carter Hall.  My coffee this morning is Guatemalan coffee.  Thank you for your time and Peace to each one of you.
