I’m Learning

 My wife and I invested a small amount in crypto currency and I’m learning about it.  It’s another distraction I seem to need.  I watch it occasionally to see how it does, but I’m not sure I care too much as long as it doesn’t go below our small investment.  But I’m learning about it.  We might invest more, but right now it’s an experiment.  I go to the app once in a while to see how it is doing and I must say it is at least interesting.  

We’re newbies to investing in crypto, but at least it’s interesting.  This is not an endorsement of crypto, as I don’t know enough to endorse it.  But it is interesting.  We’re not big on investments and always had what we consider to be safe investments.  As to how safe crypto is, we’ll just have to see.  

But my wife says now I’ll be at least distracted by it as I watch it from time to time.  We might make enough to pay my monthly tobacco bill which is about $50 a month.  So, it gives me something else to do among other things.  When I make my tobacco order I always order something familiar and might try something I’ve never had before.

I check on Old Professor from time to time, which until recently didn’t even show up as a best seller on Smoking Pipes, but has now moved up to a top 50 on Smoking Pipes and now has a 4.7 rating.  It’s been a sleeper tobacco for a long time, but again I won’t take credit for it, but since I’ve been smoking it, old Professor has gone from unranked to a top 50 best seller.  Now Smoking Pipes is sold out of it. But hopefully by the time I order again they will have some in stock.

I’ll have to go over my favorite English tobaccos in case they don’t have it in stock.  So, I am working on my next order and only hope I can get what I want.  I wrote recently about distractions and crypto is my newest distraction.  Otherwise it has been college football, but now that it’s all over I can move on to other things.  

I don’t walk a mile and a third every day, but most days instead of going to the gym, I just walk.  I was late getting out this morning simply because it is so damn cold.  One might think of Florida as being warm, but the high today will be about 60, which is too cold for here.  I’m bundled in a stocking cap with my hoodie and gloves.  But I am smoking my Tim West pipe this morning with Haunted Bookshop.  I’ve had my two cups of coffee this morning and am now just drinking water.  My wife asked me if I wanted hot chocolate this morning but I told her maybe later.  Thank you for your time and Peace to each one of you.
