Predictions for the New Year

 Actually, I have none.  Except maybe just one.  As to when it will happen I have none idea.  My Angels gave me one date and that is a spring birthdate as to when Jesus was born the first time.  I celebrate that date by myself and make it my own religious day.  But when He will return I have no idea but I think it will be soon.

I don’t pay too  much attention to what others have to say about predictions.  Many seem to think and believe as I do.  I see many predictions, but I think of most of it as just click-bait.  I just don’t pay much attention to the predictions of others.  I have seen productions about Trump; the economy; and world affairs, but I’m not sure I care.

No one can predict the future as I take life a day at a time.  I try to live in the now and let tomorrow take care of itself.  If I f pay too much attention to the future I could very well be anxious about it.  Today is New Years Day and actually, I’m paying too much attention to college football to pay attention to what so-called psychics are saying.  

Nostradamus predicted a large asteroid would come close to earth and would trigger volcanic activity and earthquakes.  I am sure that if I delve deep in his predictions there might be other things I could be worrying about.  But the fact is I’m not worried.  I just don’t have much else to say about predictions other than they can make us anxious.  I prefer to relax with my pipe and just get through today.  I am smoking my Gettysburg pipe today with my Captain Black Original and let tomorrow take care of itself.  A Happy New Years to you all and Peace to each one of you.

Pipes and Other Things

 If anything happened to my pipes or my new cabinet or anything else I might own, they are only things.  I can live without things.  I don't drink enough alcohol to be an alcoholic, for example, so no, I don't need alcohol.  I'm writing this today as a reminder as to why I smoke a pipe.  I smoke a pipe for meditative purposes and for relaxation.  There are  no other reasons why I smoke a pipe.  I am not addicted to my pipes or the tobacco I put in them.   It is a known fact  that cigarette smokers smoke cigarettes because they are addicted to them.  I watch a lot of YouTube videos and one video I watched was about tobacco commercials from the late fifties through the sixties.  Those commercials sold cigarettes as pleasure and enjoyment with no mention of nicotine in any of the two hour video of ads.  The emphasis was on what cigarettes could do for you.  A lot of research and planning went into the filters of cig...

It’s About Time

 I died nearly twice in the past fifteen years.  The next major event just might end my life, so I try to just take it easy.  My philosophy about life has changed for many reasons.  It might seem that having an experience with Angels might be THE definitive event in a life, but instead of waiting to die I await the coming of the Messiah.   My heart functions at about 50%, so I try to avoid stress as much as I can.  I take medication for both my heart and my mind as I know myself quite well.  My son gave me his old Apple Watch I wear religiously.  If I should fall and get hurt, I can send as SOS message to my wife.  It detects falls.  It can do an EKG but I have yet to figure that function out.   Stress, however, is my worst enemy.  It not only can affect my heart, but my mind as well.  I check my heart beats per minute every so often and I can pretty much guess what the results are.  I am very much in tune with both m...
