It’s About All Others

 There is no intermediary in my theology from my Angels.  God forgives all other sins.  I could lust, swearing, hypocrisy, greed, lying, gambling, extortion, adultery, and a total loss of regard for others, up to, but not including murder.  The Bible does a pretty good job of listing various sins, but losing regard for all human life is the ultimate sin.  

I could list the seven deadly sins and include slothfulness and gluttony.  I could include poverty and wealth.  I could go on and on about sin, including unbelief.  There is an unforgivable sin—that of intentionally taking a human life including one’s own.  All you need to do is peek in our prisons.  All those sins are forgiven except for those who have murdered..

God just is not that complicated.  God forgives the charlatans who sell religion.  I can think of so many sins and there is nothing we have to do except to live and let live.  This is why I avoid politics.  And except for my Angels I avoid religion too.  If I talk religiously it is only about my Angels.  

The big difference between now and before, while righteous living is still important, we lose salvation by taking a human life including our own.  Accidents happen.  But it is the intentional taking of any human life.  

My thinking about the theology of my Angels will keep me awake at night.  It’s just too simple.  But is it really that simple?  Evil exists because of sin.  Any evil can lead to death.  I don’t believe this theology is too simple.  On the surface it is, but can anyone judge others as I say God does?  

It’s not that simple and I wish it were as everyone judges everyone else.  But this is now my theology I inherited from my Angels.  And at times it causes me stress.  I relax by smoking a pipe.  My pipe this morning is my Irish Harp pipe with some Cordial tobacco.  My coffee this morning is Bella Maria.  Thank you for your time and Peace and Love to each one of you.

 I won’t collect them all and maybe I’ll just have the one Sherlock Holmes pipes.  But it just might be my favorite series of pipes and if I collected them all it would take years for me to do so.  The other series is the Dracula series also by Peterson but I have no interest in the Dracula pipes.  I have my one Sherlock Holmes pipe, but what sets them apart is that they each have a silver band with the Sherlock head stamped on each one.   This makes each pipe different and although they might be similar to other Peterson pipes, each Sherlock Holmes pipe is very distinct and different.  If I were to get another pipe in the series it might be the Professor’s pipe so named for Professor Moriarty.  Each style was smoked by a character either in the book, on stage, or in the movies about Sherlock Holmes and his various enemies.   Each pipe is different and unique and comes in price ranges from about $125-$300.  I’m not interested in the more expe...

Almost

 Tomorrow ends the 14th year since my hear attack.  I had the widow-maker and only by the grace of God and a good heart surgeon I survived.  I had never experienced such pain in my life!  I knew I wasn’t going to die but my heart was damaged so much it functions at about 50%.   It was a Saturday and we were going to visit my mom.  The timing couldn’t have been better!  We could have been out on the road.  It was about nine O’clock in the morning and I had to pump up a tire on the car.  The funny thing is I had a BP check in October and it was 120/80 with no signs of anything being wrong.   I was about 30 pounds over weight and I simply was not taking very good care of myself.  I was under some duress during that time, but still no sign of it happening.  My wife questioned as to whether it was a heart attack but I told her to call 911.  I had no doubt what was happening.   The squad came and they confirmed it was a hea...

A Different Kind of Birthday

I might be the only one my age who says I’m fourteen today but I suppose if you were to ask my family I’m in my second childhood so-to-speak.  But yesterday I made a big deal out of my heart attack but today not so much.    It’s not that I fear death—no, I fear pain.  Death doesn’t frighten me in the least.  I have talked with many who have had that kind of heart attack and the women have said it’s worse than child birth.  There really isn’t a pain like it they have said.  If I could go without the pain I’d be in heaven right now.   But if I had to go through that pain to get there I’d rather live.  But a lot has happened in these last fourteen years.  And I’ve been alive to live my life relatively pain free.  My appendicitis wasn’t all that painful but the stomach tube was annoying enough.  But we sold our home and invested in another place in NY and now live with our son here in Florida.   I’m limited in what u do and I ...
