Rotating Pipes

I’m going to smoke certain pipes less now.  It’s Sunday and for several years I have smoked my Nording Angel pipe every Sunday.  And my Dunhill won’t be smoked as much any longer.  I’ve received a lot of enjoyment from my Dunhill.  But both these pipes, while not retired, are going to be smoked a lot less now.  I have many older pipes I have not smoked as much and a few newer pipes that need to be smoked more often.

I just have some pipes I smoked on a regular basis for a few years and decided to change up my rotation after a couple of favorites broke.  I have a few pipes I have retired completely.  I’ve found through the years of pipe smoking I no longer need pipes costing much over $50.

I have. Dr. Grabow freehand style pipe in my wish list on Amazon costing $70. But I told my wife I can get good pipes from Smoking Pipes for $50.  I just don’t need any more expensive pipes costing over a hundred.  I still have plenty of good pipes still in good condition.  My Savinelli St. Nicholas pipe is a good pipe I am smoking more these days.

And my Savinelli Arcobaleno Blue is still a good pipe although the blue has worn off.  But it is a good pipe.  I have a Czech pipe by Jirsa that is still a good pipe.  And one of my first pipes is a Hilson.  Neither of these companies exist any longer as their pipes are not well-known.  But they are good pipes.  Some pipes I have are more for display than smoking.  One is the Favola Churchwarden by Savinelli that I no longer smoke much.

I have a Savinelli pipe this morning I haven’t smoked much because it is a special gift from my son, but I may start smoking it more.  I am smoking it this morning with some Cornell and Diehl Cordial.  My coffee this morning is Mayorga that is a blend from Central America.  Thank you for your time and Peace and Love to each of you.

Dave
