It Could Be

 If I just focused on my Angels every post I make here, it would be boring.  Pipe smoking just might be my only hobby.  I follow politics throughout the day, but come evening I’m looking more for entertainment and relaxation.  I could write about politics but choose not to do this.  I like Buddhist philosophy, but avoid discussing religion.  

I consider myself a philosopher/theologian, but again apart from my Angels I just avoid religious thought as much as I can.  I consider myself informed, but apart from my Angels I try to avoid religion in general.  My Angels are controversial enough.  I try to mix up my blog with pipe smoking and sometimes I leave everything for other pipe smokers.  

I think of my wife and she’s glad I have an interest in pipes and tobaccos.  I try not to be one-dimensional.  In fact, I try to be inclusive of both the pipe smokers and those who consider themselves Spiritual.  My pipe is a tool for my spirituality and the tobacco isn’t that important.  I placed the largest tobacco order I have ever placed and I sometimes write reviews for my mail order site and that occupies a bit of my time.

I write for my own enjoyment knowing others read what I write.  Smoking Pipes used to hold publishing my reviews, but they don’t do this any longer.  They are trusting of my reviews now and publish them as soon as I post them.  I won’t review tobaccos worthy of poor reviews.  I only review tobaccos worthy of at least four out of five stars or I just don’t review them.  

If a tobacco is worthy of a decent review I will review it.  No review doesn’t mean it’s bad.  I need time with a tobacco in order to give it a proper review.  A no review might mean I like it but I have nothing new to say about it that hasn’t already been said.  Usually on Smoking Pipes the reviews are spot on.  The averages are about right I have found.  

I usually don’t give much value to tobacco reviews, but the pipe smokers who shop there are knowledgeable.  I give more weight to their reviews than I do a lot of places.  I just don’t want to give negative reviews and if I don’t have something of value to add I’ll skip it.  I’ve written reviews that don’t add much more than what others have said. 

But this blog isn’t about reviews.  It is about two major interests I have.  And I try to mix up the Angels with pipe smoking.  And some days I have nothing new I haven’t already said.  I’ve written over a thousand posts, but find life in general fascinating.  Some days I bomb and some days surprise me.  I’m smoking my Savinelli St. Nicholas pipe with some Cornell and Diehl Cordial.  My coffee is Bella Maria by Wicked Joe.  Thank you for your time and Peace and Love to each one of you.
