How?

Maybe a better question might be, "Why?"  Okay, I have to admit that I am not much for social media, but the headlines caught my attention.  How can a one year old child be three years old?  I have to admit that I read the headline and wondered how it could be if the child was born in June of 2022.  Some people throw something out on social media just hoping something will become a media sensation.  I know something about mothers and children but am not quite sure how it is that something so rational becomes seemingly out of the ordinary.

This mother did just that letting the clicks hit and being quiet until she felt it was time to explain how this could be.  Was this some anomaly?  She finally had enough hits and questions until she explained her logic.  By now, maybe at least a few have figured it out, but it was nothing of the miraculous.  The mother was just being rather clever.  Her son was born in June '22 and saw the entire year of '23 and has now lived to see '24.

Figured it out yet?  It took her explanation for me figure out.  He has seen three years in his short life while being only one year old.  He lived to see the rest os '22, lived through '23 and is now seeing his third year of '24.  So, he's a three year old while being only 18 months old.  He's seen three years.  Make perfect sense, in a way.

Having seen her explanation makes me wonder why.  Why would she go through so much difficulty if that is her explanation?  Many were just dumbfounded she'd go through all that just for reactions.  Some people have too much time.  I might fall into that category, but she had some fun and I have to admit her reasoning was clever, if nothing else.

And the fact I'm even bothering with this might make one wonder whether I have too much time on my hands.  But then a reporter bothered to research this story.  I need something to do while smoking my pipe, so I do a lot of reading.  Today I'm smoking my Savinelli Champagne pipe today with some Captain Bob's Blend.  I realize that there are those who make a living looking for weird news.  This reporter did her job that day, with more detail than I have here.  Thank you for your time and Peace to each one of you.
