Maybe

I might review Cornell and Diehl’s Cordial pipe tobacco for Smoking Pipes, but I have to live with it for a while.  Maybe buying a pound of it for the first time is a little much, but from the description, I knew I would enjoy it.  People can be like this too.  Sometimes we just know about a person without knowing too much about them.  I have a sense about people, but these days I keep a distance from most.

My experience with my Angels changed me in many ways.  And after 32 years my wife still has a difficult time understanding about them.  But a tobacco for me can be compared a lot to people.  Sometimes we just know.  I don’t regret buying a pound of Cordial.  All the ingredients were there.  It is closer to Old Professor than even Bayou Night.

I just knew.  But I had to smoke it in a number of pipes to make sure.  I received it last Saturday afternoon and I it is now Wednesday and I’ve had some time to live with it.  Cordial is what I expected it to be.  It is light on the nicotine, which I like.  There is no tongue bite and the flavor is just about perfect for a good English tobacco.  There are no surprises with Cordial.

I also bought a small quantity of Luxury Navy Flake by Peter Stokkebye so I could make a comparison.  Besides which the Navy Flake was on sale.  Luxury Navy Flake is a very high rated tobacco on Smoking Pipes.  Which do I like better?  It’s always about the money in my opinion.  For the money Cordial is a better choice.  I’ve lived with it enough to know.  If I have any complaints about Cordial it is that it has too many loose stems in it.

I’m still not sure I’ll review it for Smoking Pipes, but I’ll let you know if I do.  I have to give it either a 4.5 out of five or a solid five.  I rarely give a tobacco a five, but this might be worthy of a five, but I have not yet decided.  But it is THAT good.  I am smoking my Savinelli Arcobaleno Blue pipe this morning with Cordial pipe tobacco.  My coffee is from Trader Joe’s which is Samtran coffee.  Thank you for your time and Peace and love to each one of you.

Dave
