The One Thing

 Okay, I hate bears.  I’ve decided it’s okay to hate bears, but not people.  I smoke a pipe.  Nowhere in the Bible does it say smoking a pipe is a sin.  My Angels told me Jesus could not have a single drop of alcohol or God would have had to change His plan of salvation.  But I say that I am not Jesus but have a healthy respect for alcohol.  

I’ve decided animals and creatures are okay to hate, but still I respect all forms of life.  I try not to kill any living creatures if I can help it.  I shot a deer once long ago and swore I’d never do it again.  I value all life God has created.  I still don’t understand why there are mosquitoes and flies, but I try to avoid killing even them.  Respect for Human Life begins with respect for ALLL life.  

I’d never kill a bear.  But I try to avoid feeding them, if I can.  I avoid bears as much as possible.  But they can be pests if we let them.  I don’t have a lot to say this morning.  Since coming to NY my mind has been rather relaxed and I tend to think less here.  I’m on the deck this morning smoking my Alpha pipe with some Proper English by Peter Stokkebye.  My coffee is from Don Pablo and is from Guatemala.  I’m chilling this morning with some quiet Lo-fi music.  Thank you for your time and Peace and love to each one of you.

Pipes and Other Things

 If anything happened to my pipes or my new cabinet or anything else I might own, they are only things.  I can live without things.  I don't drink enough alcohol to be an alcoholic, for example, so no, I don't need alcohol.  I'm writing this today as a reminder as to why I smoke a pipe.  I smoke a pipe for meditative purposes and for relaxation.  There are  no other reasons why I smoke a pipe.  I am not addicted to my pipes or the tobacco I put in them.   It is a known fact  that cigarette smokers smoke cigarettes because they are addicted to them.  I watch a lot of YouTube videos and one video I watched was about tobacco commercials from the late fifties through the sixties.  Those commercials sold cigarettes as pleasure and enjoyment with no mention of nicotine in any of the two hour video of ads.  The emphasis was on what cigarettes could do for you.  A lot of research and planning went into the filters of cig...

It’s About Time

 I died nearly twice in the past fifteen years.  The next major event just might end my life, so I try to just take it easy.  My philosophy about life has changed for many reasons.  It might seem that having an experience with Angels might be THE definitive event in a life, but instead of waiting to die I await the coming of the Messiah.   My heart functions at about 50%, so I try to avoid stress as much as I can.  I take medication for both my heart and my mind as I know myself quite well.  My son gave me his old Apple Watch I wear religiously.  If I should fall and get hurt, I can send as SOS message to my wife.  It detects falls.  It can do an EKG but I have yet to figure that function out.   Stress, however, is my worst enemy.  It not only can affect my heart, but my mind as well.  I check my heart beats per minute every so often and I can pretty much guess what the results are.  I am very much in tune with both m...
