Why an Easter Bunny and where does he come from? We can compare the Easter Bunny to Santa Clause for Christmas. He gives gifts to good Children. But while the traditions of Christmas are ingrained in us, the Easter Bunny isn't. We just know that colored eggs are a part of the Easter Traditiion; along with egg hunts and other games for children. It all began with the early Pagans who had a festival of Eoster. It was the Germans that were first known to celebrate Easter with a hare they called Oschter Haws.
